Curried Cauliflower

This appetizing curry cauliflower recipe is healthy and delicious and it is another way of eating your cauliflower, you can eat it with rice or with some bread.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower chopped
  • 1 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 table spoon ginger
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 ½ cups of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  • In a large pan heat the oil over medium heat, add the onions sauté for few minutes.
  • Add the curry , coriander, turmeric, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, cilantro, cauliflower, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir until all veggies are incorporated. Add water and simmer until a boil then simmer on a low heat, continue to cook covered until the cauliflower is tender.

    This sounds very good but should I use fresh or powdered ginger?
    If it’s fresh should I use chopped or grated ginger?

    Use the fresh Ginger you can either grate or chop.
