Bulgur with strawberries, raisins and honey

Bulgur wheat is a wheat grain that has already been boiled, dried and cracked that means shorter cooking time. This recipe is very delicious and nutritious too for breakfast with strawberries, raisins and honey for a snack or a sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bulgur
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • honey to taste
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries

Directions:

  • In a sauce pan add the water and salt bring it to a boil.
  • wash the bulgur and drain ad to the boiling water.
  • Remove from the heat and cover for 20 minutes.
  • Bulgur comes in different sizes of coarseness, add more water if you need to.
  • Serve bulgur with yogurt on top and sprinkle raisin, strawberries, drizzle with honey.
