Cabbage

This recipe is an easy and quick way of preparing cabbage this could be a nice side dish, next to rice and it is healthy and good way of eating your vegetables too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small head cabbage, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 chilli peper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 table spoon cilantro, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Heat the oil on a medium heat, add the onion sauté for 3-5 minutes until soft.
  • Add the cabbage and carrots and the chili and stir-fry until the cabbage is soft.
  • Stir in coriander, cumin, cilantro, lemon, season with salt and pepper until combined.
  • Lower the heat and cook until the cabbage is cooked through.
