Chicken Suqaar

Chicken Suqaar in less than 30 minutes, so easy to make and can be served with what ever you have, like rice, bread, lahooh, injera etc.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken cube
  • 1 squash/ zucchini, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 2 teaspoon lemon
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro/coriander chopped

Directions:

  • On a skillet brown the chicken with oil on high heat, season with salt and pepper, chili powder and cumin powder.
  • Stir the onions until soft, add squash, lemon, vinegar and the cilantro/coriander .
  • Continue stirring until the squash is tender don’t over cook it.
  • Serve with rice, lahooh, sabaayad or bread.
