Coconut Squares

“These delicious coconut treats are perfect for celebrating May 18th, Somaliland’s Independence Day. No baking required—just mix, chill, and let them set in the fridge. The colors—green, white, and red—represent Somaliland’s flag. May 18th marks the Somaliland Declaration of Independence, a day celebrated around the world. Happy 18th!”

Ingredients
  1. 395 can sweetened condensed milk
  2. 2 cups icing sugar
  3. 3 1/2 cups desiccated coconut
  4. few drops of red and green food coloring
Instructions
  1. Grease and line your try with baking paper.
  2. in a bowl add the condensed milk and coconut and the milk and stir until combined.
  3. Divide the mixture equally into three bowls and add food coloring into two bowls few drops at the time until reached the right color.
  4. Place the red mixture into the base and use a spoon to flatten it. Now place the white mixture and then the green.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour, once it has set cut into squares.
