Farina: Hot Breakfast Cereal

Creamy hot farina makes a wonderful breakfast, if you want to take a break from oatmeal this is a great alternative.

Ingredients
  1. 3 cups of milk
  2. ½ cup Farina
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Sugar/honey to taste
  5. Butter (optional)
Directions
Instructions
  1. In a sauce pan bring milk to a boil.
  2. Add Farina slowly, stirring constantly.
  3. Lower the heat, continue to cook while stirring until it thickens.
  4. Add honey/sugar and butter.
  5. Add more milk on top if you like it.

    • Hi Paola, you can find farina in Middle Eastern Stores, it can be replaced with semolina if you can't find it.
