Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I tried it tonight (forgot the cilantro, but I wont next time) my husband and I really enjoyed it. I'd never tried any kind of Somali food before. I ended up on your site while searching for new fry/flat bread recipes, for which I have an unholy love :) I'm from a farming community in Northern California, the potato cakes reminded me of the potato pancakes my Mom taught me to make with leftover mashed potatoes. They did not disappoint and I'll being making them again!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Rayetta
